In the end, investors can probably thank the good old Canadian Government for killing off these cannabis companies. I suppose they never stood a chance. The government was extremely greedy in taxing cannabis companies. With 12% profit margin it was very difficult for any of these companies to survive. What a same. More lost jobs, less Canadian businesses and products and in the end less taxes for the government. Add in the naked shorting that went on throughout the years, the Canadian government sure knows how to screw themselves and us.
