RE:RE:RE:copy from fb AGMI assume the issue is that Canadian LP's are lowballing them on the royalties. LDS will be able to get a much better deal once the strips are proven in California.

How do you get Canadian Clinical Trials if no Canadian LP will deal with LDS. They all have a relationship with their stock exchange that discourages them dealing with a US mj company. I know Aphria has crossed the line....but....at this point I don't think there is any interest in dealings with LDS. Otherwise I would guess that we would have a deal. LDS wants one very badly.
The only way I can think of getting to Clinical Trials is if the owner of the patent does a deal on his own with lets say MYM to do Clinical Trials in Canada and in exchange gives them an exclusive right to use the system for a fee. But that excludes LDS from the deal. Anything that points back to LDS would be a problem....for as far out as I can see.
At that point, if the Clinical Trials were successful and MYM were to produce the same product as LDS then what good would that do LDS?
The only solution is for LDS to set up shop in Canada...become a LP....and do the Clinical Trials themselves. Not sure how long that would take.
In the meantime if LDS can set up any deals to sell its products thru private dispenseries in Canada it would help to mitigate the risks of doing business in the USA at this point in time.
Would be interested in any other ideas or solutions that anyone else would have.
