The CEO of LDS is Brad Eckenweiler and President is Jim Pakulis. In 2010 Mr. Eckenweiler and Mr. Pakulis oversaw a reserve merger and a $2.5m capital raise to create a newly formed entity, General Cannabis, Inc. The goal of General Cannabis was to identify, acquire and grow small medicinal cannabis related entities into meaningful positions. Mr. Pakulis was Chairman and CEO of General Cannabis. One of the entities identified and acquired was Weedmaps.com. At the time, Weedmaps was stagnant and generating less than $30,000 a month in revenue.
