LDS Investor's Visit Summary

LDS Investor's Visit Summary

Rinkachou your math on this looks good and is cause for excitement and is a key reason why we are all here. However obtaining pesticide and herbicide free clean biomas is now the biggest issue LDS faces today. There is a massive shortage of clean product across the state. On top of that there is a bottleneck of the mandatory testing of the product of approx. 10-15 days to ensure it is pesticide free as there are a limited number of labs that do this right now.

One problem for example (as per Christian's visit) was that they were about to source a lot of biomass from one farmer but discovered he had sold other product on the black market so they cancelled the order with him as LDS can't be associated with any company doing those types of things.

Some key talking points from C's visit (all info below is as per C and others on fb):

They are working hard and close with many quality farms to get biomass but it is a bottle neck.. LDS is however about to take possession of a lot of biomass on Monday.

On the plus side, they are opening their cultivation facility shortly within the next week or two which should supply 20% of their needs once its up and running.  it takes 2 months from the time they plant the seeds (this week or next) to the time they transfer the plants to the second room.

Jonathan Hunt is the operations manager, he has been in this industry for over 12 years, has worked as a consultant for several companies across many states to build certified facilities and ONLY at LDS that he wanted to become an employee and part of this business, it’s his baby and it shows when he talks.

There is no name change on the Cannastrips, the formulation is better, and as per Jonathan Hunt has great taste (mint). Packaging is received, child proof etc...Jonathan said the 2 million would be sold, LOT’s of dispensaires want them. They will be making them within the next 2 weeks.

As for Reveur, 15,000 grams have been sold for $23.50 per.

The generator at LDS is now running at 1/3 capacity.

Last week LDS hired 8 new people. Hiring people is really not a problem in Adelanto. And wages are not high, but they’ve built a facility, and an environment that is amazing for everyone there , the goal is to develope expertise and keep it! Nothing is done with a short term vision.  He says there is nothing anywhere that is done like this... He even said that state officials keep bringing people to show the LDS facility as an example of how it should be done.

It says something that LDS was willing to let you go through the facility like this, take pics, ask questions and to relay back to our group of investors.

On the plus side the fact is that the legal market in California is the biggest in the world, and there's a bunch of growers in the state who stand to make millions if they can be one of the first to get up to regulations and produce clean biomass. It is a race to get established as a producer of clean biomass. The first bunch to get there will have locked in contracts and business relationships with manufacturers and dispensaries that have the potential to last a very long time. LDS wants to be the premier white label supplier for the state. There are a bunch of companies that want to be the premier growers in the state.  If LDS' production capabilities are what we've been told, LDS will find the top grower/growers in the state and make a deal with them. Who wouldn't want to deal with one client (LDS) that is willing to buy everything you produce? It won't happen over night, but I don't think it will take too long to see some giants emerge in the California market to help meet the states level of demand.

They also have leaf for 200,000 joints. They will be private label. Showed the leafs in huge bins.

The good news is Jonathan said they have many LOI, that can be transferred into PO’s, if LDS can produce it. LDS is positioned to have the lowest cost to transform this into oil and other products, Jonathan confirmed that yesterday and this is their longterm vision.

On one of their NRs on May 7th where it was stated ‘CSPA has also taken delivery of 1,500 pounds of biomass for contract extraction with an anticipated yield of between 60 to 70 liters of high-grade extraction. So, 800,000 / 1500 X 70 / 12 months which works out to be about 3,000 litres/ month. Works out to about 23 pounds of biomass to make 1 litre of oil approximately.

Supply of Biomass will be the companies biggest issue for now likely, but everything they get their hands on will be turned into cash and I expect this current problem to get better and better every month.
