why consolidate?

Gotta wonder why consolidate with such a tight float..... with NCIB initiated it doesnt make much sense... especially with double their market cap in cash with zero debt.

Apologies had not seen any news relase and saw it on Sedar. Very sneaky of these guys but not a surprise coming from Executive Zorbas. No reason for this consolidation, they just consolidate 2 years ago and shares OS are low. The stock is woefully illiquid already, 5 cent spreads on bid/ask making a purchase risky. The only thing that makes sense to me is that they are trying to sell the company. Similar to an RTO, a 10-1 RS would bring the share count down to 3,86M shares. Why in the hell else would you do this? Does anyone else have any other thoughts? Baffling to me!

From the filing. For felxibility of financings. Just vote against it and vote against Zorbas and Kloeppers from the NWT era. This company is trading for less than 1/2 the cash on the balance sheet. Most weed stocks have doubled in the past 2 months but this is flat. As amazing as it sounds the CEO is probably a huge drag on the share price and would double in an instant should he step down. Then again, if ypu recieved over $1 million in compensation in 2018 would you step down?
