ConwayResources Inc. (TSX VENTURE: CWY) is pleased to announce that it iscurrently negotiating to acquire mining claims in the direct vicinityof First Gold Exploration's recent lithium discovery in Quebec. TheCompany expects to make a final decision in the coming days.
FirstGold Exploration Inc. (TSX VENTURE: EFG) announced on January 21, 2010,the discovery of rare metals on its Pivert/Rose property, along with upto 4.6% Li2O. Results were as follows for non chosen Grab Sample430917: 4.6% Li2O; 390 g/t Rb; 51.4 g/t Ta; 67.7 g/t Nb; 106.5 g/t Gaand 90 g/t Be. Non chosen Grab Sample 430918 show8ed similar results:3.17% Li2O; 1,290 g/t Rb; 44.3 g/t Ta; 72.6 g/t Nb; 92.9 g/t Ga and65.1 g/t Be.
According to First Gold, the Pivert/Rose showinglies in a geological setting similar to that of the Cyr projectbelonging to Lithium One (TSX: LI), both in terms of geology andmineralization. However, the dikes on First Gold's property containmore spodumene and a large amount of lepidolite (associated withrubidium). The various dikes intersected are open in all directions.
