Nabati Foods Sponsors NFL Player-Led Youth Football Camp

$EATS with a steady flow of great news this month, up 3.4% today to $1.23 after announcing that their portfolio company Nabati Foods, is serving as the top sponsor for Mario Addison's youth football camp.
 
Key points from the article:
  • Addison is the defensive end for the NFL's Buffalo Bills team and is hosting his 7th annual football camp on June 26th in Birmingham, Alabama
     
  • Will be serving 650 kids, ages 8-18, with Nabati plant-based burgers for lunch
Nabati Foods also recently launched their plant-based meat and cheeze products in the US and announced the completion of their new manufacturing facility.
 
The Nabati Foods stock is not listed yet, but they are planning to IPO on the CSE under the ticker $MEAL soon.

In Feb, EATS paid a bunch of money to co-sponsor a Superbowl gaming event. It was a huge fail, I couldn't see any visibiltiy online, and the stock tanked in following weeks.  What's with this? I'm guessing the CEO of EATS Patrick Morris is a football Nut, or maybe it fits the image of 'disupting the market.' Either way, I wouldn't get too excited about it. Perhaps ...more
