RE:RE:Much Ado About Something!I agree with this comment. I have a suggestion for all of us equity holders. We need to get active with our appropriate representatives who can help this situation. I have a smaller amount of money to put towards this effort but I don't want to see this country become Venezuela or Russia when it comes to picking the winners and losers. I am not a citizen of Canada so I can't get involved there.
Colombia has investmemnts all over the World including public debt. I am going to be reaching out and explaing this situation of "lack of transparency" and "land reform" of publicly traded companies. They have picked a winner of a man who has trouble coming into the United States right now because he has lost billions of dollars.
I think this management has done an excellent job but now we need campaign on their behalf to people like Congress representatives who approve trade agreements.
Colombia is redrawing boundries to benefit not the people but this current adminstration of Santos. Sr. Uribe talked about transparency today and if you do this type of business, you will lose in the long run. I think Colombia has excellent people but you will destory innovation and investment when you pick winners like Eike Batista.
I will be active in this issue because I have other investments in Colombia. It is going to have implications but they are going down the path Venezuela has developed.
