Counter IntuitiveWhile the forces that have driven down the sp of Empower are in part self inflected what is the advantage, even to day traders, of supporting this? In the most recent interview Steve alludes to the fact that a falling sp impacts the dynamic of the 8 clinic acquisition. Presumably part of this transaction involved the acquiring of Empower shares ....the number of which constantly changes with such volatility in the sp. It then becomes a circular problem as the company can't demonstrate adequate growth to maintain a more positive outlook for those holding long and new investors.
Adding to this the problems associated with releasing timely audited financials ( not unique to CBDT by the way), bleeding on the markets and some issues, now resolved, to get Kai Medical back on track and it should be no surprise that the sp has taken a dive. In the end does this have a longterm impact on the vision of the company ....the unequivocal answer should be no. The next few months should provide answers with much more clarity.
In the meantime Morningstar's Fair Value sp remains above $.30 and the stock is not considered to be significantly overvalued (and overbought) until it reaches $2.00. Hopefully the annual financials for 2021 and quarterly finacials for early 2022, which will likely be released close to each other now will offer a catalyst to meet these valuations.
