VP resignation

Probably good news but markets don't like uncertainty.

I love this CEO - He said on Friday that he taking care of it - voila, today Director is gone. For me, it continues to provide confidence that the CEO can execute. Good luck all,

This is not uncertainty but certainty that issues that erode shareholder value will be dealt with quickly. Looks to me like investors loving it.  Up 10 percent in Germany and they are most likely waiting to see how North American markets open. Bid on TSE up significantly and should increase as we get closer to market open.

I agree, I continue to be impressed with Steve, he is a born leader and the best of its kind too. Also, I almost feel sorry for the Kleins. Can you imagine the feeling of missing out when they see CBDT going to $5, $10 etc over time?
Comment by Smokey1958 on Mar 01, 2021 9:06am
Don't feel sorry Gal! One of them is still employed and together they still hold over 20 million shares.  They're going to be just fine .....as will any shareholder with PATIENCE. Cheers!

How much time are we talking? Seems like still a LONG road ahead
Comment by EternalPonzi on Mar 01, 2021 11:49am
That's the problem that no one is talking about. These people still have millions of shares, which they will undoubtedly unload eventually. Depending on how much they decide to unload at once the share price could suffer easily and quickly. If this guy is vindictive for getting fired I wouldn't expect him to play nice. Unfortunately my assessment is that this situation limits very rapid ...more

If you go back and read the original agreement, there is a clause which limits the amount of shares they can sell over a period of time.  Must be something the lawyers put in to protect against this kind of thing.  At any rate there are enough new share holders flowing in to deal this problem if it will become a problem.

I agree with 7Twiggy, I wouldn't go into battle of wits with Steve if I were Klein, I'm sure he already took some legal steps to make sure this kind of situation won't happen again. Also, from what I understand Klein's wife is still employed so Steve didn't go all vindictive on them either, he just stood by his shareholders and sent a clear massage not to mess around with him ...more

BTW, in the event of a sudden flood of shares for sale, stop losses will be triggered compounding effect. This situation could be gamed so easily by the Kleins. They could short the stock, then sell their own shares, watch the mayheim unfold and buy back cheaper. This could go on and on and on. What a f#@%ing mess. That's why you don't promise too many shares to the owner's of entity ...more

In connection with the closing of the Transaction (the "Closing"), Empower: (i) paid the Vendors an aggregate cash payment of US$775,000 (CAD$1,042,840), of which US$150,000 (CAD$201,840) is being heldback by Empower, half of which is to be released six months from the date of Closing and the other half of which is to be release twelve months from the date of ...more

Okay, I know Steve was not happy with Klein's sell of shares, but in the overall picture it didn't make up much percent of what was sold over the week.  I suppose I could speculate, but then I would arguing from ignorance.  And I simply don't know what all the reasons are. In the end, I absolutely support Steve in the decisions he makes because I know he has shareholders ...more

Klein's selling at all the prices they have so far indicate little insight as to where Steve wanted to take Empower...so it's good that he is gone and they can go back to their comfort zone...Or, could be Personal like Divorce or illness with high bills, We cannot tell for sure but they did also get a chunk of cask when first coming on board. Makes no difference to me....GLTA...cam
