Why just ios I asked?

Why just ios I asked?I asked why they didn't build ios and android at same time with newest software?Got this as a reply FYI

The platform that compiles to both iOS and Android is Xamarin. It's a reasonably new (~3 years) product that is very hard to find expert engineers in and has many many bugs which are very hard to get around since it's a bit of a black box.

Most people that I know that have used it have said that they regretted it. I didn't want to take a chance on a bleeding edge technology.

We're using some very sophisticated mechanisms with the sockets that communicate data back and forth in real time, and Xamarin would (probably) give us a ton of grief with these cutting edge approaches.
