$GEMS to acquire new pegmatite project Infinity Stone Ventures Corp. ($GEMS.c $TLOOF) recently announced that it has entered into a property option agreement with Quartier Minerals Inc. to acquire the Galaxy Pegmatite Project.
The Galaxy Project covers 1,411 hectares in southern Quebec, and is highly accessible from road La Vrendrye 13, via the Trans-Canada Highway, which traverses through the middle of the Property.
Galaxy is underlain by at least 30 pegmatite exposures. The five minerals associated with the pegmatites are lepidolite, columbite, samarskite, euxenite, and thorianite.
Plus, a recent field survey at Galaxy recovered a sample of lithium-bearing Spodumeney.
$GEMS intends to conduct further exploration of the project in the coming weeks.
