RE:RE:RE:Tilray + Ascent article There is going to be a massive sell-off. It happens with every speculative stock/sector. We have the date already, Oct 17th. After that date, the period of speculation is over. Hype won't matter anymore and companies will be valued based on sales posted in their quarterly reports.
It will take a while for actual sales to make their way into reports, so stock prices will stay low for at least 4-6 months after Oct 17th. Has the sell-off begun? Maybe. The next few days will tell. Today was probably more of a tremor before the actual earthquake but it could be starting.
Will the sell-off affect Ascent? Not as much as the others in the sector. Ascent hasn't traded in tandem with the big names but it is certainly a speculative stock. Undervalued compared to the others but the others are insanely over-valued right now.
I bought in today. I saw value at this level. I'll hold this one long term. The water-soluble patent will be worth the current stock price alone.
