it doesn't matter to health canada (HC) what the agreement these 3 guys had or didn't have in the investment package.
All HC knows is that if they are STILL have a vested interest in the company.. and HC says they are NOT going to reinstate Agrima's license because these individuals are still major shareholders in the parent company Ascent... Agrima is not going to get their license reinstated.
HC is very clear! They don't care if you're public or private! If someone is offside, or found to be in violation of HC rules! You're done! Toast! Gone!!
If you're not gone... no ticky to the dance any more.
Where the f-uck are you getting this?
HC has never come out and said anything. Ascent doesn't even know exactly what HC's reasoning is. There's been very little communication with them. HC just said that "unauthorized activities with cannabis took place under the Company’s ACMPR license during this period." But there were also other issues with SOPs and recordkeeping that HC was concerned about. There's more to it than "these 3 guys". Ascent just assumed that having the people who were in charge at that time resign would appease them. It was a shot in the dark that didn't work. HC has never said anything about major shareholders. We can assume that's a factor, but it's never been stated by HC.
