This was a pretty small scale indescrection in comparison to Canopy being caught red handed with tons of illegal pot at the airport. RCMP caught Canopy red handed with illegal products. But Ascent, unlike Canopy, was not a favourite pick of the government. Insiders bought and drove it up with all the insiders that knew the pending news of legalization. Health Canada quite obviously played favourites and let Canopy continue on but revoked Ascent's license for a lesser infraction.
phillip and others stepped aside so the company may be able to move forward but then 2 douche bags took control of the board, sold out assets off to their friends company for a song, enriched themselves and left Ascent with a tiny war chest.
if you think Phillip and the rest are here to just pump and dump you should know that many shareholders/ bag holders are friends and family and enriching all our lives was and is still the goal for making this company work and prosper.
