Grow Wheels If grow wheels are so great, why isn't every other company using them. The first time i saw one was almost 20 years ago. So they are not a new idea. Plants growing directly under the light, grow faster and taller than the ones on the side of the wheel. Tall plants can burn from the light. You need to be able to adjust light distance from the plants. Larger grow wheels use 2 lights. You can produce just as much with 2 lights covering a 4x12 or 5x12 foot flood/drain table. Each light can only produce so much, whether you grow 16 large plants or 300 small plants. You need more lighting to produce more out of your plants. Full spectrum lighting, combination of High pressure sodium lights for red/orange colour spectrum, metal hallide lights for blue spectrum and LED lighting has both. Traditionally just high pressure sodium was used for flowering/budding and metal hallide for rooting, growing, and mother plants. Grow wheels are a pain in the &ss. IMO
