Not sure if something special is brewing or SI sees what many of us see....IP is establishing itself as an AR leader with some unique, defensible capabilities.
I'm not making price predictions, just that 29 cents is a steal when you look where IP has come from in the last year...the contracts they have, relationships they've built...
I have no clue about what might be brewing, but I will say is that as of a few days ago, I seriously rebalanced my entire portfolio to move a large portion of my small cap gains into my core portfolio of quality, superior yield equities.
I've been able to do so over the last 8 months or so, but I now only hold 3 small caps, I have 9000 NTAR @2.61 and 110.5kIP@.19 as my big primary bets and a small 5k @.41 holding of a interesting manure to energy and organic fertilizer story called Earthrenew
So no clue what is happening, but in all my recent restructuring and rebalancing I (wisely) left my IP alone across all 7 portfolios I manage, 2 TFSAs, 3 RRSPs and 2 cash accounts
