Firstly, why would you care about someone making small trades like this, unless you're one of the people shorting the stock? If you're hoping to sell your shares wouldn't the rational position be to be happy that the price is rising so you can get a premium? Secondly, people selling similar small numbers of shares happens as well. Someone sold 500 shares at 9 cents this morning

Let me be clear. I own this POS stock. I highly doubt it is shorted.  I find it laughable that people uptick a stock in now, 45$ increments. When you consume the shareholder's equity by over paying bonuses etc. a share price decline follows.

The 11/15 (most recent) iiroc consolidated short position report doesn't have any shares shorted that I can find for Lotus, compared to about 100k shares shorted on the 12/31/2020 report. It can vary wildly report to report. Pretty small amounts compared to mkt cap overall, but it does get shorted. The reports I'm pulling are listed here and get updated biweekly: https://www.iiroc
