SORA CAPITAL INVESTEE COMPANY HELPHUB SERVICES INC. FOUNDER AND CEO INTERVIEWED ON GLOBAL TV NEWS' BC1 CHANNEL.
Sora Capital Corp. investee company HelpHub Services Inc.'s founder and chief executive officer, Miguel Kudry, has been interviewed on the Global TV News BC1 channel.
The segment aired today on Global TV News' BC1 channel, and centred on HelpHub.me and the observed increase in traffic in British Columbia, which could be attributed to the continuing dispute between teachers and the provincial government. The strike has resulted in the public school system remaining closed, which has left the students looking for outside help to ensure they do not fall behind. In particular, HelpHub.me's group learning feature is being utilized for group tutoring sessions on math 12, English 12 and science 12.
Mr. Kudry, 21, is a recently graduated business management student, who at the age of 14 developed a profitable Web application for posting and sharing photos in social media sites. Mr. Kudry arrived in Canada from Caracas, Venezuela, at the age of 16, and has been developing Web applications since he was 13 years old. Earlier this year, he was named to MacLean's Magazine's "Canada's future leaders of 2014."
Starting this fall, HelpHub is extending its marketing campaign by targeting students, tutors, institutions and channel partners, and by reinforcing existing relationships while continuing to respond to their users, and to further strengthen their platform of tutoring tools and services.
