Jones seems to have their ducks in a row

to launch into CBD beverages.  They are entering a business environment that is fearful of making it easy for cannbinoid bottlers.  Law and policy makers have left lots of pitfalls in the legislation.

My guess is that Jones is looking for a more profitable product line and the CBD bevvies that they are starting with may be a precursor for THC, but I don't know that.

Interestingly enough another investment I follow, Tinley Beverages C.TNY started with CBD beverages and back burnered them in favour of THC infused and sober curious adult flavoured drinks with no alcohol or cannabinoids.

It has been a long row to hoe for Tinley but they have these products on shelves in California and they have also built a State of the Art THC bottling facility with enough capacity to do co-packaging services too.

I only caught a little clip of Jones intentions which sparked my curiousity as a possible investment.  I have investments in several companies with cannabinoid beverages and the operative word is delay.

Tinley has been at it for 5 years and just seem to be hitting their stride.  Investors have lost their love for them but I think this is about to change.

I watched with interest what happened with Canopy Growth and their beverage launch in Canada and it looks like they are going to invest heavily in beverage skus, of course, they are doing both CBD and THC.  I had to try them and the ones I tried need a lot of work but some say they are working on changes and new products.  They have the US in their crosshairs and are doing branding deals with US MSOs to brand names on shelves.

If they do expand to THC beverages they will be facing a formidable obstacle course of laws and rules as well as inspections and most of the bigger companies are currently building vertical operations because of the crossing State line rules which at present looks like they will be doing business in Seattle and Washington unless this changes.

Lots of contenders entering this field and failure rates for new beverages are huge let alone cannbinoid style.

100% they will move into THC, there should not be a single doubt about that.
