The metaverse is something that many companies and people have begun to gain interest in due to it expanding the 2d internet into 3d immersive experiences. However, one problem I always see with the current metaverses is subpar graphics. For example, Horizon Worlds and Decentraland have cartoon graphics which eliminate the immersion and make the metaverse feel inauthentic. This is exactly what $LQID.C is aiming to solve with their Aftermath Islands. It will feature a few things that differentiate it from competitors in the space.
- Utilizes the Unreal 5 Engine to create extremely high-quality graphics, which results in a more immersive experience.
- Will feature an in-game shop where users can spend their tokens in and will only have 5-10% commissions compared to Meta’s 47% on NFTs.
- Has compatibility with the Pixel Streaming allowing for high-quality gameplay from anywhere with any device.
- Integration with some of their other products such as their unique, verifiable credential system, so you know you’re in Aftermath Islands with real people.
Overall, considering how Aftermath is utilizing technology nobody else in the space is using, there’s significant potential for the metaverse project to grow to become a serious competitor to Sandbox/Decentraland. Additionally, the $5.8M market cap could hold upside as we enter into oversold territory with an RSI of just 36. I’ll be looking to see any continued developments and updates with Aftermath Island.
