I believe that thier company's are mentioned routinely in the financial disclosures because they were part of the initial finacing/debitors to get the company started.

Plant 2 isn't a science experiment at all, it's just a more perminate version of the mobile plants you see on Gold Rush. It's just a case of running it and capacity being handled front to back on the mostly second hand equipment...
