RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: Real NewsYes Shovelhead, Suzanne is Mrs. Robinson.
I'm surprised you don't know her. Well maybe not. Suckers for Regtech always focus on the promise of its technology and rarely even read its financial statements.
You should. In addition to Reg and REGI, you'll learn that the Robinsons run two Canadian junior companies: Linux Gold and Teryl Resouces are the other two.
Suzanne is a director in all four. And the Robinson charge each of these four companies $2,500 per month for management services. That's $120K per year. Not bad work if you can get it. Reg, Linus and Teryl also pay the Robinsons rent at a marked-up price, as well as directors fees and expenses.
During 2007 and 2008 and for most of 2009, Reg spent only $581K on R&D. Yet it spent a whooping $3.6M on general and adminisrative expenses. In other words, directly to the Robinson's account.
That's hardly a recipe for a successful tech startup. It is one for sucking in would be investors who never bother to crunch any numbers.
Caveat emptor.
