really liking the buzz around their PROPASTA line, frozen foods saw a sharp increase in sales during pandemic and that is bound to influence future consumer habits. Frozen foods raked in $65.1 billion in retail sales in 2020, a 21% increase compared to the year before. And to add to the trend, during the height of the pandemic, dollar sales for Plant-based friendly foods were up 28% and vegan-friendly foods up 28%. so the launch of PROPASTA could not have come at a more opportune time, imo.
