I think this just means that come August 17, the shares will be issued at a minimum value of $6.47.  Even if the stock is trading less than this, at the time.
Im hoping the amount of shares will be disclosed tomorrow.  There value will be determined Aug 17.
i personally hope the new investors triple their money.

I don't know man, but all I can say is when I checked my portfolio a couple hours after close on Friday, my brokerage was showing my Nextech shares were down $1.10  from $7.60 to $6.50. I was shocked to say the least. Like WTF happened? The stock isn't even trading, so how can this be? I tried phoning the brokerage to find out what happened but nobody home at that time. I just checked... I saw the same thing too. $6.50.    Looks like that's where we'll open in up for starters Monday morning. LOL!! :) Looks like this was already planned ahead of time. No matter, minimum dilution and share price should recover quickly. We now have some heavy hitter investors and a seal of approval recognizing NTAR's potential and some of its market

Thanks Punkrocky. Glad to know I'm not the only one and that my brokerage didn't screw up. Yeah, I imagine this is just a temporary thing and that we will recover but I'm just hoping that this drop at open will not trigger another panic sell. Depends on your point of view though I guess. Some other people might welcome it as a buy opportunity. We'll see what happens tomorrow

The opening price may be higher or lower, hopefully higher than $6.50 It depends on the pre market bids . $6.50 was the last bid on Friday .

Most Canadian banks brokerage firms will only use the last bid price to calculate stock portfolio value. Last bids on from Friday is $6.50 CAD but it doesn't mean it will open at this price because it will all come down to supply and demand.

Ya think Next Tech is going down more or will start picking up from here?

Happened to everyone. That dip is due to people going into their accounts and asking down their NTAR selling price.  Yes, setting up an automatic sell, and chasing their own sale price down!  It will not be executed until halt is lifted.  So there's no real reason to be even trying.   Buy low, sell high?

Yeah well whatever, but as far as I'm concerned it just ain't right. If a stock is halted it should be HALTED! No activity of any kind whatsoever should be allowed. But that's only sensible so of course that's not the way it is. Tomorrow morning should be interesting.
