RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Bevcanna Partnership? The exclusivity was always only on the one side. In the deal NL didn't have to be exclusive in providing their oil to Bevcanna. They could continue to provide other companies (as per IR at the time).
Bevcanna seems to have completely new management. If they are choosing to not be exclusive - then it appears that they aren't honouring the agreement (or they beleive legally that they don't have to).
If they aren't honouring the agreement - then unfortunately we can't assume anything. To assume that we will still be a supplier, but just not an exclusive one is just a guess. I know Bevcanna said what they said at the conference call - but unless it's a signed deal I don't think we as investors should assume anything. It's possible that the deal was made simply through the Emma/NL existing relationship. When Emma left Bevcanna, the deal may not be valued anymore.
I'm not trying to be a downer, but I find it's always best to be as realistic that we can be. NL amd Bevcanna used to talk about each other all the time in interviews. Now, they almost purposely aren't mentioning each other at all. I have no proof - but I suspect there may not be much of a relationship there anymore.
I am mostly attracted to NL's IP though. But it would be nice to hear something about the Bevcanna deal since it was made public to investors. I hope I'm wrong, and NL/Bevcanna make announcements now that their license is granted.
