Very good article by international law firm Harris Bricken on the Canopy Growth v GW Pharma lawsuit.
Note that Canopy's argument is that GW was aware of the patent infringement of CO2 extraction in Europe and tried to have it quashed before it was issued recently in the US. Canopy has 1.5 years to collect on the patent infringement, if they win.

If Canopy wins, the resounding search for holders of extraction patents places Nextleaf in the #1 position for partnership or acquistion.
Very exciting, too say the least.

I'm betting Jazz was motivated by the WEED lawsuit and they moved on purchasing GW. Very interested in the precedents this lawsuit will set in place. Will it motivate the purchase of OILS? Will people just simply invest into OILS since the share price is only 30 cents Canadian? I'm going to re-evaluate my position in OILS as the lawsuit progresses.
