It's been 5 weeks

It's been 5 weeksA US head of business strategy was named 5 weeks ago and then nothing. I wonder if US demand is really there or if there reluctance to deal with a Canadian company for this type of service. They have had no problems signing up clients in Canada from the very begining, even when they weren't half as ready. It's looking like they had nothing in the pipeline while the were finalising their readiness and banking agreements and getting ready for the big US rollout.
I am also a little disappointed with their media presence and marketing, especially considering this was a marketing company. I thought that this was an area where they could have punched above their weight.
I understand this is all very difficult, but I think that if they don't announce a few sizable US clients soon they will find their window closing with other players with more money and large US footprints ready to step in with their own product or simply buy them out at a firesale price.
I hope my doubts will be proven wrong, but my thinking is the next 2 months will make or break this company. They have a great product, but in a market as large as the US they won't be alone for long.
