CEO Interview With Departures Capital / Listed on the FSE $PBF.C (Planet Based Foods) is a new player in the plant-based space that recently IPOd on the CSE. With a focus on bringing healthier hemp products to market, $PBF is poised to take advantage of the growing plant-based market through their diversified product portfolio and rapidly growing distribution either through restaurants, e-commerce, or in-store.
Hemp is a highly sustainable/low-impact crop due to its low need for water and resilience in varied weather conditions. Additionally, hemp is far healthier when compared to other plant-based alternatives with a high content of protein, vitamins, fatty acids, and fibre.
$PBF also announced a collaboration with Copper Mountain Resort for re-orders of the original and breakfast sausage patties, which will be used on the resort’s plant-based menu in 11 of their food/beverage establishments. This’ll help give the company a lot of exposure in addition to it being a revenue-generating deal.

Overall, $PBF is a plant-based company to watch. Their growing product portfolio, unexploited economies of scale, and expanding distribution/retail network make this undervalued with a market cap of only $18M. I'm starting to see some upward momentum build-out of a bottom as the stock closed up 9% today. With the FSE listing now live
