What Happens If The Trend, In Commodity Pricing Continues?Let's keep a close eye on the copper price! A good upperward move in the price seems to be starting! It's now at $4.17 and seems to be gaining some momentum. These moves are sometimes slow, to gather momentum. But it looks like this is about to change for the better!
Rockcliff Metals already has some key valuable assets that could be mined today. For example, we know that Bur already has a 5.3 million tonne, a mostly well defined, resource base with a cueq of almost 4%. And Ken Lapierre seems determined to greatly expand it. For him, this 100% owned property, seems most important!
Even the zinc price seems to be making some beginning moves to the upside.
I have a small position in a junior silver and gold explorer, which seems to be struggling a bit now, from a price point of view. But it has some great potential and I remain optimistic on the silver and gold price, as well.
As world wide markets now seem to be opening up, money is being diverted from the US market and causing that dollar to decline in value. That opens up the possibility of commodities better reflecting the real demand, that will occur, once most this recessionary talk, comes to an end.
There remains some uncertainty about future earnings, but the market seems to be shrugging off most of this, at least for now, and is looking forward, to much better times!
The other important consideration for Rockcliff Metals after commodity pricing, is getting the message out to the public about the potential that this company offers. The present share price isn't going to get any cheaper than today.
Rockcliff Metals seems to better aware of their need to grab the attention of the retail investor. Certainly, every additional position taken by 'any investor' is important for the company's future. Every shareholder matters!
If the trend in commodity prices continues to move much higher due to increasing demand or continued weakness in the US dollar, I will remain, very confident that shares in Rockcliff Metals will also follow that trend!
And if management actually finds some means to get at least one of its properties mined, there will be no stopping this company, moving rapidly forward!
Mines are valuable assets!
Rockcliff is now undervalued as an explorer. But it could be priced, at well over a dollar per share, if the company manages to get sufficient funding to allow a private mining contractor to mine at least, one of its properties. That would be a good first start!
I have high expectations! But if the trend in price remains our friend, then I expect that it will be just a matter of time.
The joint venture concept with a larger miner has it's appeal. But running the whole show by yourself is a much more financially lucrative proposition, if the money becomes available.
And certainly if some miner did consider making a reasonable offer to purchase the company outright, why would any Rockcliff shareholder, choose to deny any other larger company, this unique opportunity to make a profit?
Rockcliff's potential mines have a very short pay back period. The higher the commodity price becomes, the shorter time is involved before any mine becomes, a real money making endeavor.
A year from now, I expect that my recent investment in Rockcliff Metals, could pay off, very handsomely!
Rockcliff Shareholders have been extremely patient. Very soon, I expect that the word, 'reward' will start to enter their vocabulary, as a real possibility for their future.
Let's hope that the present upward trend, in commodity prices, continues to remain our friend!
All the best! Java
