Reaching A Critical Mass...

Reaching A Critical Mass...
According to Rockcliff Metals, achieving 'critical mass' the number one goal of the present and any future drilling campaigns.

With the new drilling program, the company is starting its exploration at the well known Bur deposit. This is the most obvious place to begin, as these targets appear to be, well connected in their geologic context, to what's already known.

The objective at Bur is to increase the scale of this deposit to achieve some critical mass. But Bur is only one property in the company's portfolio. So what they presently have achieved is simply not enough! They need to find more!

How much is enough? Well, I guess we have to wait and see! They don't seem to know either!

Rockcliff Shareholders are used to waiting. But how patient do we need to be?

Rockcliff offers investors value but when will it offer them a mine?

What Is Critical Mass?

Critical mass is the point at which a growing company becomes self-sustaining and no longer needs additional investment to remain economically viable. It is a crucial stage in the development of a growing company. It is the point at which the business becomes profitable enough to continue growing by itself and no longer requires investment from outsiders.

A company that sustains profitability is able to exist safely and reliably above its critical mass.

Key Takeaways

  • Critical mass is the point at which a growing company becomes self-sustaining and no longer needs additional investment to remain economically viable.
  • A company usually achieves critical mass when it has paid back initial investors and at the same time can continue running the business profitably without any additional investment required.
  • The term critical mass is borrowed from nuclear physics, where it refers to the smallest mass that can sustain a nuclear reaction at a constant level.

Understanding Critical Mass

When companies reach critical mass, their leaders may face a decision whether to seek continued rapid growth or to focus on consolidating the firm’s market position and improving operations.

The initial growth of a company requires investment. When a business first opens, it must first have invested in building the capacity necessary to deliver the goods or services it intends to sell to customers before it begins to generate revenue. The company must grow to the point that it can repay its initial investors for the capital they have provided as well as bring in enough money to function without additional investment.

Rockcliff now admits that they have a fuduciary responsibility to return the intial investment of their shareholders. A repayment is capital repaid with interest. Everyone invested has the same rights to that reward!

But those who have sold, have lost those rights!

Rockcliff Metals has not yet achieved their 'critical mass.'

But since management has this goal in mind, one might conclude that their corporate insiders hold fast to this ethical concept.

They have now expressed this concept openly in this last press release. So their dealings with all shareholders in the future will have to remain honest and open.

Any contrary actions could result in some serious negative legal ramifications for them. Lawyers could take them to task!

"...Rockcliff’s Interim President and CEO Ken Lapierre commented, “Our goal is to achieve critical mass with our existing high-grade copper deposits and continue to explore our extensive property portfolio for the next big copper discovery within the world class Snow Lake mining camp..."

It is tedious to have to wait for what seems forever!

At least, the daily trading price continues to consolidate between 3 and 3.5 cents. Daily the asks grow smaller. For the impatient, this may appear grim.

But someone or some group is actively buying the shares of those unwilling to wait. And it their own best interest to slowly raise the price higher, but only, little by little!

They don't want the share price to rise, much too fast! That's how to best accumulate, the very most shares! And they are accumulating a lot!

So at least, we now know where the price is headed, for those who still remain, willing to wait. It's higher!

As ususal those who buy at the lowest price, will gain the most, when the company finally reaches, its critical mass!

                                                            All the best! Java
