My Recent E-mail To CaNickel Mining
I offered this suggestion to CaNickel Mining, the present owners of the Bucko Lake Mine and Mill.
Shirley Anthony
VP Corporate Development
CaNickle Mining Ltd.
Ms. Anthony:
I am a pro-active Rockcliff Metals shareholder who is actively pursuing the promotion of Rockcliff shares for the benefit of our shareholders. I have no affiliation with Rockcliff Metals or Hudbay. But I do understand that in the past, Rockcliff Metals had a leasing proposal with CaNickel Mining which apparently failed to materialize. I have studied the Rockcliff's Talbot 43-101 mineral resource technical study, which is available on the Rockcliff website.
In this technical report, it was mentioned that there is exists a deep underground geophysical target of some significant size (1 km square one km in depth), that hasn't been drill tested. Rockcliff Metals is in a joint/venture with Hudbay with a 65/35 split. Hudbay has taken over majority interest in the project and will pay the cost for the mine's construction. Since this is potentially, a Lalor (Hudbay Snow Lake) sized deposit, of great significance, it might be in your interest to approach Hudbay with a reasonable leasing or sale proposal, subject to negotiation, for your milling asset. If such negotiations are already underway, between yourself and Hudbay, please ignore this suggestion.
The massive sized underground plate at Talbot is indicated in figure 6.2 (Geophysical Interpretation Of The Talbot Deposit) on page 34 (40 pdf) of the technical report. It has not been drill tested, but as is a VMS deposit similar to Lalor, it is very likely, that this a very valuable resource! Hudbay would likely be strongly motivated to make a deal if this is also what they choose to believe!

This is just my suggestion. It is yours to make!
Yours Truly
This lady has just been hired and appointed to the position of Vice President of Corporate Development at CaNickel Mining as of November 22, 2022.
"...Ms. Anthony’s responsibilities will include corporate development, contract negotiations, and oversight of the legal and financial matters of the Company..."
So perhaps, something is already in the works. CaNickel is obviously in negotiations with someone. If not Hudbay, then who?
Remember, that CaNickel's Bucko Mine has remained uneconomic to mine for a very long time. Likely nothing has changed in this regard, but they still have a 1000 ton/day mill just sitting on care and maintainance! Isn't that a waste? MIning infrastructure is valuable and should be put to better use!
Remain positive!
My Gift To You, Merry Christmas!
All the best! Java
