Ken replied to my e-mail.
He told me that Rockcliff is an explorer, not a miner!
Rockcliff has no control over anything that happens at Talbot now that Hudbay is the operator.
Hudbay calls all of the shots!
The deep target at Talbot runs down deeper than 1500 meters and that's a long way down to drill. He said that it is a weakly conductive target.
But I suggested in a reply to him that zinc deposits may reveal a weak conductance. But he is the geologist. He said that target looks formational and I asked in reply, "what does that mean?"
I will let you know if he replies to me again. He's kind of busy right now!
"..VMS systems are complex, and
where the target ore is zinc-rich, the deposit may not be conductive and EM systems may fail. Resistivity and IP methods effectively map alteration, lithology and are more sensitive to weakly conductive or disseminated mineralization. And in ultramafic environments where EM technologies are commonly used, the DCIP method can provide a clearer view of PGE or cobalt mineralization within or related to these intrusions..."

Infor Financial has looked into monetizing Rockcliff's assets (including Talbot), but it is an ongoing process.
I was left with the impression that nothing of substance, has yet materialized, in any substantial way.
Ken emphasized that Rockcliff remains a company focused upon making the big copper discovery. They may not have found it yet, but are hoping to grow bigger, those resources that they have already found.
It is a matter of scale and there remains the need to increase the size of these deposits!
He is not in favor of selling any of the company's assets until their full potential is made clear.
More importantly, for many people,
the roll back is not in the cards at the present time. It is merely a needed option to have, for the company, if such a need arises, sometime down the road.
"..
.A roll back if required will be for the benefit of the Company and its shareholders. Let me stress that at this time there is no interest in a roll back..." Believe this or not! This is what he told me!
In his own words, "..
.One day I believe the “tipping point” will happen for Rockcliff. We simply have too many great assets and tremendous exploration upside.." Keeping my shares for now!
Drilling may find something more significant.
Better discoveries, may yet come our way!
Fingers crossed!
All the best! Java
