RE:RE:Desperate E-mail, I Just Sent To Ken!
ggrellette, it was worth a shot!
But Ken asked me in no uncertain terms, who would upfront the capital to make such a deal???
Rockcliff currently only has the financial support of Greenstone. But, they are very obviously, strong believers in the company's exploration efforts!
Rockcliff really needs to use some kind of very convincing argument with the Red Cloud group to gain access to a broader investor base.
Ken mentioned via e-mail that he wants to get the drilling done, with the results in before he heads out on the video conferencing stage.
"...Red Cloud have their pre PDAC conference this week. Many one-on-one meetings lines up. Lets get drill results first before my mug shot is in front of a camera. We also have a booth at the PDAC so it begins!..."
I just thought that a private placement, back-stopped by a share buyback plan, might be a creative solution to help overcome the problem of Rockcliff's, most obvious, share price undervaluation.
And I thought that some financial backers might actually like such a scheme.
He wasn't convinced that this idea had any merit for an explorer. Only a miner with some positive cash flow, would even consider such a buy back option.
I believe that Ken feels that Rockcliff Metals will most probably, always be an explorer.
I expect that he feels that one day, the company will discover the 'motherlode' of deposits and that will be the deal maker for the company and then it will be sold!
Naturally, all of the company's resource assets will be a part of the calculation for the final sale price. I hope that he is right!
But first Rockcliff has to make this kind of big discovery! Or a new discovery made near Bur, might be huge?
Maybe the Penex property might offer the goods, that when combined, could reach that ultimate goal?
The discovery of a regional deposit of some significant size, in the sum of all of its parts, might make for some interesting negotiations!
We can always hope!
Many have waited for some time for this drilling program to begin.
Penex is so very close to Hudbay's Lalor mine (4 km distant). And these newer targets are also very near to the Hudbay's already discovered open pit style, Pen deposit, of which much of Penex is just an extension.
It seems clear that some ore body, of some major significance, might also be found nearby, just a short distance away from Pen. It stands to reason!
All the best! Java
