I use Quotemedia and they show 1,057,494 total  shares traded today on all the Cdn. exchanges. I've bought shares before on the TSXV and they show up on Alpha or another one of the exchanges.

Stockwatch shows this  info. as well and it's free, just put in MWX or whatever company you want to look at.
