Nevada is known for its commercial-grade lithium-enriched brine. The Clayton Valley area, in particular, is highly coveted as it is home to North America's only producing lithium mine.
Scotch Creek Ventures (SCV.c SCVFF) has taken control of two lithium projects in the Clayton Valley: the Highland's West and Macallan East Projects.
Macallan East is adjacent to Pure Energy's lithium project and is also believed to have the potential to host various types of lithium mineralization. Recently, a drilling program was conducted at the site, which revealed grades of up to 461 ppm Li. SCV plans to follow up on these findings with additional drilling phases.
Highland's West boasts the potential to host multiple types of lithium mineralization, thereby increasing the probability of discovering a significant deposit of the mineral. The site has already undergone a comprehensive geophysics program.
