Korea Resources Corporation and LG-Nikko Copper Inc., a Korean-Japanese joint venture, subsequently purchased a jointly 30% equity in Marcona and LG-Nikko has agreed to purchase 90% of Marcona cathode production and 70% of concentrate production. Continuance into British Columbia has been proposed.
