One thing your not getting and most people are not getting is that stock prices do not necessarily move on fundamental basis. I knew someone who once worked for company X (One of the top Canadian companies) not related to aerospace and has no bearing on this discussion, anyway that person knowledge of a an excellent new product the company was coming out with in a few months....he was sure that the stock price would soar with the addition of this new product. Nada nothing happened in the short term and nothing happened in the long term. The product was a total hit. Just goes to show you that many factors affect the share fluctuations of a particular stock, once you understand this then you will stop lagging behind me. Fundamentals help, sure I'll give you that. A nice Air Canada across the fleet signature with SNA would surely help it's cause in pushing the SP higher, but it is not the only thing that will push it higher. If Star were to sign with Air Canada tomorrow let's say, and all investors shrug it off and don't buy....you think the SP will move? I highly doubt it, but fortunately most investors are like you though and rely on fundamentals to invest, so an Air Canada signature would be more than welcomed....And yes Star can be shorted you need to find other trading platforms to do that but you are probably not at that level yet RX. Better play safe and stay with what you know. Oh and talking about fluff go look at EMH.V fluff news....stock was 8 cents and driven to 2.20$ on fluff news. You think I give a flying fack about Fluff news or not? You judge Star has fluff news...to me those news releases are not fluff, Star has been setting it's building blocks. Even a bird is smarter than you are....you see a bird will build it's nest before laying it's eggs, but you know what only you and your buddies are blind to that fact.
