This is strictly entertainment based and has nothing to do with inflight health monitoring. The Airbus Sita data solution replaces manual data extraction from the black box once the aircraft has landed. Star has a real-time on board tracking, flight monitoring and analysis system.

As well does anyone have more extensive knowledge about Inmarsat's GX Aviation in flight broadband service and if it could be used to assist with continuous coverage for relating data back down from their satellites for a health monitoring system. BL? CH? Snugs? Piker?

May I add to this BL that Star technology can have the problem detected in flight. Mechanic and parts can be ordered before plane lands at destination. Therefore reducing downtime and plane taking off again shortly after reducing losses to the airliner. An airliner could even decide to plant a mechanic on board and some of the problems could be fixed in flight. Huge advantage over SITA where you get the info after the plane has landed. This is the future of aviation. No doubt in my mind.
