On or about October 16, 2020, Mr. Jean-Louis Larmor, the Company’s former interim Chief Executive Officer, and Vice-President, Corporate Development filed various complaints against the Company and its subsidiary, Star-Isoneo Inc., including a monetary complaint for amounts owed to Mr. Larmor, a prohibited practice (in accordance with Article 122 of the Act Respecting Labour Standards), and a dismissal without just and sufficient cause (in accordance with Article 124 of the Act Respecting Labour Standards). At this stage, it is the opinion of the Company’s legal counsel that it is not possible to assess the amount of money that these claims represent until further details regarding the amount claimed have been provided by CNESST. With respect to the complaints for prohibited practice and of dismissal, if Mr. Larmor’s complaint were to be accepted by the tribunal, he would be entitled to full retroactive salary between the date of his reinstatement and the date of his termination of employment, in addition to other potential damages.

The only ONLY capacity of Jean-Louis Lamar was to collect a salary while under the employ at Star. He he had actually SOLD something maybe he'd still be collecting his inflated salary.  Firing him was best the best thing for shareholders

Amounts owed to employees are not detailed in FY 2019 as they are subsquent events I guess. However based on what is recognized owed to JL Larmor in the financial documents from 2018 and 2019 ( salaries and expenses accrued - not paid), probable same situation for FY 2020, it seems the liabilities for all cases exceed the Sales numbers....Not pretty

A while back 10_12 years,ago  around about the time of Dale Sparks, there were 2 other engineers , both English I think, were brought in to promote Astrium deal, and were both asked to join Star,I met them  one day for lunch and had a good chat, one of them told me then although star had a reasonable set up, no one every seemed to be that busy and they didnt really know much about what ...more

Not sure where the money form shareholders went- seems throuh the successive Financial documents (culminationg with the Financials of 2019 recently published, that a fair chunk of salaries/compensations were not paid to some employees and even to managemeent. Anyhow I found these past days several Press releases about companies doing data transfer from airplane to the groundm improving 'safety ...more
