Why the jump

It is only a bit above average volume but somebody is buying today.  Short seller covering?  Somebody with some inside knowledge buying?  The market cap on this company is so low now that seems like only bankruptcy can drop it further.

OKF is closing this week, the only reason for its jump I think. We will hear the news but the price and volume usually foretells what is going on.

I am curious what's going on too. thought there was no hope of this company producing any cannabis products in Cali anymore.  hasn't it completely fallen apart by now?

Neither company involved in the transaction has issued a PR since Dec 23.  Where are you hearing that this is going to close?  Certainly selling a piece of the company for $20 million should move the SP given the market cap is only about $7 million right now.

Good news could come when we least expect it. Certainly seems like folks buying today are optimistic.

assume then everyone read the CPMD filing last week, stating they secured a 500k loan, most likely the remaining deposit amount for OK financing. The first step to getting back on track is survival. Construction financiers may have to deal with Sunniva going forward afterall.

up to 23.5 cents and all of a sudden everyone gets all excited ... what's up with the fall from 16 dollars/share??? did you all forgot about it huh???

@sovy888, what happened the past two years has nothing to do with what happens going forward. If you were smart, which sounds like a stretch, you would have reduced your exposure at the least during past negative news cycles. Now use some of that money to prepare.for a positive development.

I sold all by shares at 8 dollars a long time ago, since then I'm still waiting for some positive developments so I can re enter and recover some of my losses...as I've said STILL WAITING!!!
