RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Scientific Notation LODMoemoney,
The problem is that YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT IS POSTED ON THE COMPANY WEBSITE EVEN THOUGH IT IS STATED QUITE CLEARLY.
Let me explain:
1. The test is called an ANTIGEN ASSAY because it uses the Covid-19 Antigen (present in the infection) to detect an IgG ANTIBODY RESPONSE to the Antigen.
2.It therefore detects if IgG Antibodies to Covid are present in the serum sample extracted from the patient. A positive test indicates that the patient has previously ( days, weeks, maybe years ago) been infected by Covid. It does not confirm active infection and therefore is NO USE in acute testing or screening.
3. The above test is NOT an ANTIGEN TEST but an Antibody test.
4. Sona´s test IS AN ANTIGEN TEST because it identifies the COVID ANTIGEN present in acute infection and therefore is crucial in Acute Testing and even more importantly Screening.
It is only any use relying on whatever information is provided on any Company Website if you understand it. Short of giving you an extensive lecture on Medical Immunology and the origin, uses and actions of Antigens and Antibodies I do not think that I can explain it any clearer.
If you have any doubts contact Luminex and they may be willing to take the time to explain it to you because, if you are to make Investment decisions then it does really help if you understand clearly what the information provided means.
I hate to repeat your own words but you really ought to PAY ATTENTION.
