RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Scientific Notation LODNO IT IS NOT. It is an Antibody test and says so clearly. " DETECTS IgG ANTIBODIES TO SARS COVID-2". COULD NOT BE CLEARER.
It is a serum test. How do you detect the acute infection in the bloodstream when it is in the nose/throat.
It also says " identifying individuals with an adaptive immune response to Sars Cov-2" ie. ANTIBODIES.
It also says " indicating recent or prior infection " NOT CURRENT INFECTION which is what PCR and Antibody tests do.
The thing I am starting to wonder about , as I do agree that they are using terms that might confuse someone with no medical knowledge, is whether they are purposely trying to confuse the issue giving the impression that theirs´is an Antigen Test ( why confuse the issue by refering to it as an Antigen Assay when it has nothing to do with testing for Antigens?)
Please be very clear. The future for mass screening are ANTIGEN TESTS THAT DETECT ANTIGENS.
This is absolutely a test that detects ANTIBODIES and therefore can play NO PART in MASS SCREENING.
