About half are lateral flow. The lateral flow assays are basically all based on the same prinicple. Gold conjugates, latex conjugates, etc, but there are a couple of rapid tests using way more sensitive methods (look into the time resolved fluorescence asay from Shenzen Bioeasy biotech company) but its not point of care since you need a pretty fancy fluorimeter to run these. Some are multiplex for influenza and sars-2.
Do your own DD and you'll find that there is more competition than most people care to acknowledge here. Sona has a chance at a chunk of the market, but so to the other companies. All they need to do is prove that theirs works with real virus in a real biological matrix, and we need to see the numbers.
The good news is that they cannot withold the data once they get it. Its getting to be a real nail biter :P
