RE:RE:Calls for FDA to speed up approval for at-home testingWhat is the point of FDA approval of kits that do not work towards truly identifying the problem? If they entertain multiple tests for labs that would create an even greater backlog of tests that they cannot keep up with now. If the accuracy of the new take home tests starts out with a poor percentage, imagine once the common person is allowed to administer the test, the accuracy would drop to even lower levels. I think the FDA is correct to STOP and take a snapshot of the madness where embellished claims are being made and not proven. The only way is to first have a test that can pass all of the criteria that is needed to combat this. Second, the coordination of testing results as quickly as possible can not come from multiple test methods with varying accuracy results and time result differences, no they must make sure that any tests passed work in conjunction with reporting the where and when so they can tie together what is happening, so again SONA is the only one that may truly rise to the occasion to meet all of the criteria. IMO
