I like reading this. I think sona is doing this.

What is the point of FDA approval of kits that do not work towards truly identifying the problem? If they entertain multiple tests for labs that would create an even greater backlog of tests that they cannot keep up with now. If the accuracy of the new take home tests starts out with a poor percentage, imagine once the common person is allowed to administer the test, the accuracy would drop to ...more

I think today's webcast by the FDA  on nanotechnology is more than just coincidence. It will set the stage for quick approval of Sona's covid antigen test imho. Every day there are new articles about the need for antigen testing in multiple settings (community outbreaks, schools, sports and air travel). Actually the list is endless. And today we see a call for the FDA to speed up ...more

I totally agree JoeScotia...  more than a coincidence.  Timing is everything, and the FDA wants to make sure they get a piece of the "kudos" when Sona's test is approved.. Setting the ground work on how far Nanotechlogy has come..and Sona Nanotech with their CTAB free Gold Nanorods is leading the pack.  Their GNR's increase total surface area because of their shape ...more

I would not be too sure. Better not to get your hopes up to be disappointed later. I think that this a general look at the Nanotechnology Industry, albeit at a very interesting time, rather than Covid-19 orientated. SONA or their test will almost certainly not be mentioned although they will aware of developments. What I think will be interesting is the relevance of what is said in general about ...more

I agree whatdoiknow... with 20 years of nanotech behind us, and 600 and counting, products already in the market, this will be a wide general based event. Nice to see your common sense approach as usual..

Don´t take this the wrong way Moemoney but I get a little worried when you start to agree with me !!! Let´s make it an exception.

LOL... no worries.. I just find it refreshing that we can have more than one opinion on a stock without name calling or bashing someones trading strategy... oh no I think we just agreed again..! LOL...! Good luck with your style of trading.. and I mean that sincerely..!

I agree but you forget. I don´t trade, I invest. I pick a stock and stick to it until such time as I think the story or the risk has changed and then I sell. I still believe that trading is too risky and does not generally achieve maximum returns. Warren Buffet agrees with me ... but each to his own.

I used to use that strategy for years as well, and still do for some of my stable companies, but dealing with the high flyers I have a tendency to watch for spikes and sell into them... and it works well... the fibinacci retracement oddly enough happens more than you would imagine... now a stock that's moved through the (1) $9 spike and (2) $16 spike from 1 cent is ripe for pull backs ...more

Nanotechnology is not something new to be discovered by the FDA. They have had task forces, and committees and even a division devoted to Nanotech since before 2006. This is from 2018. There is a good chance that SONA has worked with the FDA for a long time being at the forefront of this type of nanotech.IMO

Right on whatdoiknow123 ..  Using Sona's GNR's in it's covid test is just one aspect of the nanotech industry... so much more to look for!  I wasn't expecting any name drops, just wonder if they talk about a test kit using GNR's to test for Virus..Superior GNR's CTAB free used invivo.. That is one of the really huge aspects of their GNR's .. Diagnostic Imaging ...more
