I would highly question the reproducibility of swab companies to make every swab in the world the exact same size, weight, absorbency, colour, density, even texture. So the LOD based on per swab can be misleading, hence, impressive expressed as the manufacturer desires. I do know the reproducibility of the millilitre is universal, global, accepted, understood and has been standardized - for centuries. Every manufacturer should be quoting their results to international standards for true unadulterated comparisons. Most do, some don't ..... wonder why?
