A slightly less accurate test creates a liability for HC. Imagine that someone takes a "approved, slightly less accurate" test and receives a false negative then goes on to spread covid to others and it is revealed through contract tracing that they did take a “slightly less accurate tes” and were provided with a false sense of security. Then HC will find themselves in litigation. This type of stuff happens to the federal government daily.
