RE:Future share priceexamples of margins and PE/ratios are not exact but give one a good idea of what to expect. If a company selling product "A" is making a 10% net margin on sale one would expect it to be trading at 5/6 times sales, if they are making 20% margin on sales then maybe a PE/ratio of 11/12, if the margins are 30% a PE/ratio of maybe 20/22. This is here it gets nuts, if they have a margin of above 50% then the PE/ratios go nuts and no one can predict what it will trade at. Case in point QDEL trades at a PE/ratio of 70x.
