SONA to the rescue - Problem with Abott and BDSona is the only home made test that can be deployed rapidlly.
The govt may have signed whatever contract with Abbott and BD, but they will not be able to get their hands on any physical tests from those manufacturers for at least some time. They are american companies and the war measures act is already in place. To be honest they need them more down there with their exponential growth. They are in deep trouble.
They are all holding back to use internal to the US as soon as the president elect takes office. They will need them down there. Doctors without Borders is actually going into the United States now. A pandemic exploding out of control.
That means that Canada will have to step up to the plate and have their own testing solution before the vaccine can be rolled out. Speed up R&D and finalization of the testing on the saliva test as well, and deploy across the country.
So the whole market jumped when Pfizer came out about this vaccine, even the CEO dumped +60% of his shares on that day, does he knows that the actual vaccine for this may never really be here?
Call your MPs , tell them you want a SONA test.
